Churchills Set to Host Multiple 2010 World Cup Viewing
Parties for Atlanta Metro Soccer Fans and Revelers.
The 2010 World Cup in Johannesburg
begins television coverage on Friday, June 11th and running
though July 11th. Churchills British Pub in Buckhead plans
to open early many days during the live coverage so you
can catch one of many matches when you want to watch this
premier international sports spectacle.
Game 1 starts at 10:00am (Atlanta time) with a Group A
match between the host South African team vs Mexico. Please
keep in mind we cannot start serving alcoholic beverages
until 11:30am by law. But come early and leave happy as
the games continue for an entire month of World Cup Soccer.

The United States continues their quest toward a first-ever
World Cup Championship and is part of Group C that includes
England, Slovenia, and Algeria. The FIRST USA MATCH is
going to be a showstopper versus England beginning at
2:30pm, Saturday June 12th. You can bet we will have it
on every screen at Churchills with drink specials and
ruckus good times. Wear your red, white and blue (or,
just red and white if you're pulling for the English)
and enjoy this rare match-up.
The final two matches for the United States in round 1
play both occur at 10:00am local time (June 18th and 23rd)
but we plan to be open early and ready to serve your favorite
draft or bottled brew by 11:30am.
